Rachael Claxton (General Manager)

I started care work in 1992 on a two year youth training scheme and have worked my way up through the years to amass a total of 31 years in the care sector. Over these years I have had many job roles : carer, care manager, peripatetic manager, service manager and registered manager with CQC/CSCI since 2003. I have had commissioning and decommissioning roles with CQC previously and have recently registered our company as a domiciliary agency . I hold several qualifications but my most recent achievement is obtaining my level 5. I’m now enthusiastic to progress to Level 7. I am passionate about all areas of care and treat all people as I would like myself or my parents treated. I believe that people come into our care during the vulnerable part of their life and we are duty bound to push the quality in care to the highest possible standards.

Tessa Bramley (Manager)

I started working life in 1994 and held various Managerial positions in the retail sector. In 2006 my Grandfather was diagnosed with Alzheimers and I saw the difference having help from carers made to his quality of life and decided I wanted to be one of those people who make that difference. I became a domiciliary Carer and since then have worked my way up to my current post as Manager of Redgate House and Red House. My previous roles included Quality Care supervisor , team leader and manager of privately owned assisted living developments. I am currently qualified up to NVQ level 5. I work with a fantastic management and staff team who are all passionate about providing quality care to people when they are at their most vulnerable.

Ashley (Assistant Manager)

I have built up a wealth of experience of  the care business having worked in care since 2006  and have always been totally committed to my job. I have my NVQ level 2 &3 and  my QCF level 5 diploma. Other courses I have completed are diabetes care, Dementia Awareness, Advanced safe handling of medicines and Palliative care. I attend all in house training and am passionate about Dementia Care. I was thrilled to be offered the new role of assistant manager and am thoroughly enjoying the experience of working with both  established teams at Red House  and Redgate House. I constantly  think about what we can do better , and how the space and facilities we have can change the lives of people and help them to continue to live well.

Lisa (Carer)

I have worked in care for the last 14 years. I have been in different care homes but working for Randale Care has given me the opportunity to try new things. Currently, my role as well as being a Carer is as an administrative assistant and I am also involved in all medication ordering and auditing for Redgate House. I am studying for my NVQ 3 alongside these jobs and finding it still all fits around my family life. I feel I still have a way to go but I am happy that Randale Care will push and support me.

Trixie (Carer Red House)

I previously worked at Redgate House but now I work at Red House as a Carer and have been here for 6 years. I really like the small home family atmosphere and the ethos under Rachael’s leadership of caring and always putting the residents first. We have a friendly team here and lovely Residents. The management is supportive and very helpful. I have a total of 11.5 years experience covering Learning Difficulties, Dementia, Mental Health and Elderly care.

Janice Harfield (Activities Coordinator)

I have worked in the care industry for 39 years and amongst other things have been a health care assistant, a residential carer and a mental health support worker. During this time I have gained my level 2 NVQ and am a qualified first aider. I joined Randale Care 8 years ago as a domiciliary Carer and now I am the activities coordinator for both Red House and Redgate House. There are many challenges and highs and lows in my job, but the best bit of any day is seeing our Residents smile and laugh. That feeling is priceless.

Monique (Domestic and Carer)

I am fairly new to Randale Care, I started in August 2022. I love my job and was well supported and encouraged when I was being trained. It is a warm and welcoming work environment and it’s a joy to come to work. My previous employment has been in cleaning and working as a busy mum of 4 children.

Lou (Cook Red House)

I have been with Randale Care for 5 years now and started there when another Randale employee referred me for the job. It’s a nice small home and a lovely friendly environment to work in. My previous experience has been as a school kitchen manager and I have previous care experience in Dementia care.
